At the start of a new Culinary Adventures, on Jan 22nd, 2018 in Mexico City, at 6 pm, the inimitable Marilyn L Tausend, started her final adventure to the eternity, leaving from her favorite country, where she started her culinary adventures 31 years ago…
She was at peace.

Such heartbreaking news, thank you for sharing this. My heart goes out to you all, and to her family. I have amazingly fond memories of my first trip to Mexico, to Veracruz. What a joy to be introduced to Mexico through Marilyn’s eyes and experience. May she be at peace.
Cynthia, Thank you for your kind words. I too remember the Veracruz trip with you. Marilyn had me send her sketches and descriptions daily last year, when she invited me to her “farewell” trip there to Veracruz, as she was unable to attend. I reminded her of our junket with you and Ricardo, making her laugh at our anecdotes. She was very happy to be back in Mexico City. I miss her terribly. But also hear her telling me to get to work and get things done…
